We partnered once again with Amazon Studios Technology on their project about cybersecurity to create an easy to understand video. Once again, Olo - the brand mascot we created for our client - embarks on another adventure to explore the world of cinematic production technology.
Design concept
Before diving into fully illustrated scenes, we focused on refining the video's visual concept. Building on the previous animation in the series, we maintained its color palette, use of geometric shapes and various grainy textures to show an interesting way of presenting data, technology and digital environment.
Character design
We created a diverse cast of characters that appear throughout the entire video, with a special emphasis on our main trio. They represent Amazon employees who work on cybersecurity in the company.
Making of
For animation we used a mix of traditional and cut-out animation, utilizing Adobe Animate and Moho as well as Blender for 3D animation.
By combining three dimensional elements with other animation techniques, we achieved a visually rich and engaging final piece with a polished cinematic look.
