Animwood is bringing its original animated series Sportsville to Young Horizons Industry 2026 in Warsaw.
The project, also known as Miasteczko Sporteczko, has been selected for the 2026 official programme as a series for children aged 5-8. It is produced by Animwood Studio and will be presented to international producers and potential co-production partners.
A new original animated series from Animwood
Sportsville follows Lila, a young girl determined to master every sport. Together with her friends Julek and Twinkle, she discovers a mysterious town inhabited by mythical Beboks, where sports, adventure and friendship come together. The series is an original, non-adapted universe developed by Animwood, with the project currently at an early development stage.
Sportsville at Young Horizons Industry 2026
Young Horizons Industry 2026 takes place in Warsaw from 28–30 September 2026. The event brings together producers, distributors, broadcasters and other industry professionals working on projects for young audiences.
For Animwood, the event is the next an opportunity to present Sportsville internationally and connect with European producers interested in animation co-production. The studio will also take part in Spotlight on Polish Animation at Young Horizons Industry, creating additional opportunities for meetings with potential partners.
From original series to animation production
Animwood’s studio is based in Kraków and develops original animated films and series while also working with international partners on animation production.
Sportsville is now looking for European co-producers and production partners interested in joining the project at the development stage.
